Several Paths for All walkers have featured on Talking Scotland, a series of short television programmes transmitted across STV. The programmes are sponsored by the Scottish Executive and cover issues of importance to Scottish people.
Geo-cashing: a new idea to get people out walking
Looking for a new idea for Spring Walks? Geo caching might be your answer. One of our walkers, Bert, from the Plodders Walking group in Glasgow has found that hiding caches along his routes on the canal path can be a great encouragement.
Dundee City historical lunchtime walks

Bums off Seats walkers reach 400th walk!
Fife Council’s healthy walking initiative, ‘Bums off Seats’ gave two of their committed walkers a commemorative gift to mark them making their 400th walk. The gifts were presented by Bridget Kerwin, Development Officer with Paths to Health.
Walking down the aisle!
John and Elizabeth joined Ways to Walk walking group in Kilwinning separately, but soon found the walks allowed them to get to know each other better, so much so that they got married in July 2007! John tells their story.
Walking back to health
John Anderson began walking with Islay’s Walkaboutabit scheme after he was diagnosed with ME, also known as chronic fatigue syndrome. His involvement in the group has led to a great improvement in his health, as he tells us here.
