Path Contract Management & the Construction (Design Management) Regulations 2007

This course is free to community volunteers (£75 to non-volunteers)

This one day course provides a comprehensive overview of path contract management practice and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM 2007).  In this course, the principle practices, requirements and responsibilities will be discussed, to provide sufficient knowledge, understanding and information to allow you to efficiently manage and safely deliver path construction projects.

The course will cover:
• Bill of quantities (basic structures and functions),
• Specifications (written methods and cross section drawings),
• Contract documents (conditions of contract),
• Procurement (competitive tendering process to find and select competent contractors),
• Managing contractors (working with path contractors, overseeing, monitoring and closing a path construction project),
• Dealing with contract problems (knowledge and experiences into practice), and;
• CDM Regulations 2007

Who is the event for?

This course is open to anyone involved in path construction projects; and, is particularly suitable for practicing practitioners who will be duty holders under the CDM 2007 Regulations during a path construction project.
