Scotland 2040: an active travel environment?

‘What the future for Active Travel in Scotland should be in 2040’ was a key  theme for the 2nd National Active Travel Conference, Walking, Cycling, Connecting Communities.  The conference explored the political value of Active Travel and gave delegates a better understanding of the practical and policy measures necessary to realise the full potential of an Active Travel future.  The aim of the day was to generate momentum for change within the delegates’ respective places of work and within the Scottish Government.

Overwhelmingly, delegates found the conference to be inspirational, thought provoking and very worthwhile, with high demand for a follow-up conference next year.
